And considering how my bro kept saying how hard everything was and he accidently skipped a page in his physics paper...he didnt do too badly=) He dropped down to B this year due to his internal marks, but it looks like he did ok when it counted.

| Memories.....sometimes it's nice to remember the things that have been, the times we have shared with friends. Yet at 20, it's exciting to know there's so much more ahead!
Got a surprise call from a friend overseas today. Boy is it good to hear his voice again even if it was for only a brief chat. It's great to know that he's continuing to let God mold and develop him=)
Played the sax at my church for the first time in years (8+?)! Who would have known that i'd actually pick it up again. Kinda wished i'd put more effort into it when i was younger. I'm glad my parents (and teachers) chose to persevere with me tho. haha. Praise and thanks be to God!
| Wow, my first wedding of '06. I'm so happy for them. I think it all went well:)
Now....us 'kids' weren't invited to the reception, but it didnt matter, cos we still had an awesome night playing rollerhockey, articulate, taboo, and eating domino's...mmmm....
A great day overall...thanks God;)
| I went back to primary school today for the annual flag ceremony (aka prize giving). The weather held up, so it was great. aaahhh...the memories. 9 years ago i would have been one of those year 6 students marching around the field, bearing a flag proudly for all the audience to see. I was in the colour party (select group of 8 flags incl the school flag and NZ flag), and the last to carry the old Hong Kong flag before the change over (my bro was the first to carry the new one i think). It was awesome seeing the whole school marching 2 by 2 on to the field in formation, to see the maori culture group perform, to see the guys do the haka, to see the flag bearers make a 'tunnel' for the special guests to leave. It hasn't changed much. The songs 'Simply the Best' and 'This is the moment' are still being played as the students leave the field=) how fitting......how inspirational. | | |
| slc is just around the corner, tomorrow in fact. It hasnt hit home yet, i still havent packed:P.
I remember the first time i went to slc i was really looking forward to it. What followed was tear after tear, brokeness night after night. It wasn't what i expected, but it what was definitely what i needed. Last year was awesome too. Convicted on the last night. It was great getting to know a few of the ocfers a bit more, especially the comm members. Again, it was what i needed.
This year...who knows? But i know itl be what i need! For that i am thankful. God is faithful, he's always trying to mold us and shape us (just the right amount).
